Easter Weekend
This weekend was Orthodox Easter and we had a little celebration. It was just Anton and I by ourselves here in Canada for a very long time and I missed my parents a lot. But they are currently staying with us and I am enjoying these moments of being together as a big family.
My mom made the traditional Easter bread with raisins and icing, just like grandma used to make.
We also were in Burlington this weekend and Sofia saw the cherry blossoms for the first time. I took some photos and will put them together in a separate post.
We had lunch at Pane Fresco, I ordered my favourite goat cheese salad with roasted veggies. Yum!
Their cannoli are the best.
On Sunday we went to Russian church in Toronto.
People gathered in the basement for the food blessing ceremony.
So fascinating to see the Romanov dynasty portraits on the walls. I guess there is an old Russian diaspora over here.
Love the candles.
Sofia, my mom and I.
I hope you had a lovely weekend too!

DeleteДаже не знаю, что меня удивило сильнее - Романовы в церкви или такие красивые пасхальные яйца в Канаде :) Непросто, наверное, было найти краски.
