learning to crochet

I think last time I did any crocheting when I was a kid, I decided to give it another try and made this Totoro toy. It turned out to be quite easy! You can make one too using this pattern . Now I wish I could make my own patterns but I guess it's too soon for that.

victoria day weekend

Yesterday we went to the Bronte Creek park near Toronto. We rode our bicycles, visited a little farm and had a picnic under a blossoming apple tree. I was a lovely day!
